Chad & Chelsea
For Chad and Chelsea's save the date we wanted to keep the design simple and elegant. Since it's going to be a fall wedding we wanted to stay away from flowers and bright colors but also not follow the stereotypical fall wedding colors and design elements. I think the design reflects a sophisticated event but also projects a fun playful quality with the line elements in the envelope liner. Can't wait to see where we go with the wedding invitations!
Karinna & Eric
This invitation was so much fun to create. The bride gave creative freedom to pick the colors, style and design. Since I knew the bride it made the task a little bit easier but there was still pressure to produce something that she would love. Since it is a destination wedding, we wanted to provide lots of information including a location map, accommodations, and rsvp information. Choosing a stacked format helped to organize the information in a playful creative way. In the end the bride loved the invite and Im looking forward to being a part of their big day!
Meredith & Stan
The best way to describe this invitation suite is classic elegance with a hint of modern flair. Combining the styles of a tradition invitation with a fun, hip bride was an easy task. Since this was a formal affair, we wanted to set the tone with an elegant black and white invitation. However, since the bride is an energetic, happy-go-lucky person we wanted to carry that through the design as well. Adding the fairway green color helped bring out the modern, hip side to the invitation without taking away the sophistication of the event.
Ginna & Chad
I had a lot of fun working on this invitation suite with my good friend Ginna. She knew that pink had to be a part of the wedding stationary but we didn't want it to overwhelm the rest of the items. With the color palette on the more neutral side, it gave us an opportunity to make the pink pop on several of the pieces. Overall, I think its fun and modern but still has a hint of sophistication.
